Rules for BEINGBAR Ambassadors and Affiliates
The Federal Trade Commission has recently updated their best practices for affiliate marketers, its our position that all affiliates of our products use these guidelines and regulations as standard during their endorsement or promotion.
Step 1 – Download and Review the FTC Document for Endorsement Guidelines:

Step 2 – In addition to the FTC Guidelines, please observe the following Best Practices:
When you promote, make sure you:
- Do not use our brand in your domain name. For example: registering or using an URL like beingbarreview.com or beingbarsunglasses.com is NOT allowed. myreviewsite.com/beingbar is of course OK. If you use our brand in your domain name - you will not receive any commission.
- Although it can be proven successful according to some research, Do NOT use ANY form of negative advertising. If you do that, it would falsely connect the wrong keywords to our brand.
- For example if you use the word SCAM (a negative word) with any of our brands - your account will be closed.
- Do not use SEO to rank for 'beingbar' instead target keywords like 'best natural eyewear'
- All of our product names are registered as a trademarks. If you create a video using our brand for the purposes of promoting another product - Google will ban the video AND you will lose your YouTube account. We have a strict process and fast track way of dealing with this.
- Include your Affiliate Disclaimers and Disclosures. The bottom line is, if you make a sale via an affiliate link, it’s because you’re getting paid to do so – be honest about that. Include these disclaimers during email or advertising promotions.
- Include your relevant Privacy Policies on sites that you are promoting our products with. Include your Terms of Service on sites that you are promoting our products with.
- Include your Forward Looking Earnings Statements on sites that you are promoting our products with.
- DO NOT SPAM (Do NOT send JUNK or UNQUALIFIED TRAFFIC to this Content).
- Don’t TWITTER SPAM or Social Media Spam.
- Don’t misrepresent yourself as a “typical result” or as a “typical customer” when you promote this offer.
- Be transparent and authentic – We’ll treat your prospects with MASSIVE RESPECT!
- Commissions will be paid via PayPal. If you are not known to us - then you will be paid 30 days after the sale, after the refund period.
Final notes:
You ONLY receive commissions on BEINGBAR Sunglasses and eyewear and on BEINGBAR bracelets and accessories. You do not receive any commissions on clothing and clothing accessories (e.g. caps, t-shirts, hoodies, and so on).
Commission is paid on first year sales only.
